“Our Love Affair Begins”

We are Marc and Kathy Festa. Our goal is to golf in all 50 states as we share Our Love Affair of Golf with you along the way!

​In 1998, Kathy and I had been married for 11 years. We were looking for a lifelong hobby that we could do together. 

Kathy’s sister suggested we take up golf.

She explained the game was designed for golfers of all levels to be able to play together and enjoy their round.

She also highlighted that we would be together outside on beautiful courses, and we could play all over the world. This was important since we were a young military couple, routinely posted overseas. 

Golf has now become a part of who we are as a couple.

It has traveled the world with us to over 150 different courses.

We have met pro players and caddies, played in pro-ams, and have made great golfing friends, all while enjoying every aspect this game has afforded us!

We are now planning our next round.

​We are RVing to as many golf courses in the United States as possible, as we create our golf bucket-list of golfing in all 50 states!  

We plan to rate and review them along the way, share some stories, and hopefully entertain you as we do it.

​We aren’t anything special in the way of skill. We certainly are not looking at this from a professional point of view. I am a 12 handicap, and Kathy is a 20 handicap.

Our goal is to share our passion for golf with you by providing information and entertainment that resonates with the “Recreational” player’s perspective. We hope you will enjoy it.
