“New Year, New Fairways: Welcoming 2026”

The calendar has turned, the celebratory toasts have been made, and we’ve officially stepped onto the first tee box of 2026. And we couldn’t be more excited to see where this new year takes us on our golfing adventures!

Our love affair with golf continues to grow with every course we play, every new friend we make, and every round we share.

The new year always brings a fresh sense of hope and the opportunity for reflection. For us, it’s a chance to look back at the fairways we’ve walked, the challenges we’ve overcome, and the sheer joy this sport brings to our lives!

As we plan our rounds in 2026, we have a few aspirations for the year ahead:

• Embrace the Process. The best golf doesn’t come from a quick fix but from falling in love with the process of improvement. We’re committing to purposeful practice and enjoying the journey, not just the scorecard.
• Explore New Courses. Our “counting” journey is far from over! In fact, we have three states already on our schedule – Georgia, Alabama, and Utah. How we have missed these three states is a mystery to us, but that will change in 2026. Also, we look forward to discovering new hidden gems and sharing our honest reviews with you, our gallery.
• Play with Friends (Old & New). Golf is a game best shared. We hope to continue meeting new people, playing with family, and enjoying the camaraderie that is so unique to the sport.

We have a few aspirations for off the course in 2026 as well:

• Ski Trip to Austria. In a few weeks, we are scheduled to depart for our annual ski trip to meet friends, where this year we will be tackling the slopes and challenges in Austria.
• RV Road Trip to Alaska. In early May, we will be joining a group of fellow full-time RVers as we set off on another Alaskan expedition.
• More Hikes. This spring, our “to-do” list has our path leading to Zion’s majestic canyons and Bryce’s hoodoo wonderland, with unforgettable hikes planned for both.

As we so often say – Golf, in many ways, mirrors life.

It teaches us patience, resilience after a poor shot, and the courage to try something new. The outcome doesn’t define us, but the experience certainly enriches us.

We hope you’ll join us as we navigate the challenges and triumphs – on and off – the course this year. Remember, the goal for 2026 isn’t just about getting better; it’s about getting out there and enjoying every swing!
